Affiliate payments at ASEOHosting are sent by PayPal, so the single most important thing you need to do is give us the right PayPal email address. The quickest way is to update your affiliate request ticket with the PayPal email you want the money sent to, and we will process the payment to that address.
The one step that unblocks your payout
When you request a commission payout, open (or reply to) your affiliate request ticket in the billing portal and add the PayPal email address that should receive the funds. If that detail is missing, we cannot release the payment, and this is the most common reason a payout stalls. Adding it clearly in the ticket lets our billing team proceed straight away.
- Log in to the billing portal and open your affiliate request ticket (or submit a new ticket to the billing department).
- State the amount you are requesting and include the PayPal email address the payment should go to.
- Double check that the PayPal email is spelled correctly and that the account can receive payments in the currency shown on your affiliate balance.
Before you can be paid: the payout threshold
Payments are only released once your affiliate earnings have reached the minimum payout threshold of 100 USD. If your balance is still below that figure, the request will wait until enough commission has accrued and cleared. Because ASEOHosting pays a recurring commission (you keep earning for as long as the customer you referred stays active and keeps paying their invoices), balances that are close to the threshold usually cross it within a billing cycle or two.
Why we use PayPal and why the email has to match
PayPal is the payout rail for the affiliate programme because it settles quickly and works across most of the countries our affiliates operate from. The trade off is that PayPal routes money strictly by email address, so a typo or an address tied to a closed account means the transfer bounces or lands in the wrong place. Confirming the address inside the ticket, rather than assuming we have it on file, is the safest habit.
If something looks wrong
- No reply yet? Payouts are handled by the billing team, so keep the conversation on the same affiliate ticket rather than opening several new ones, which only splits the history.
- Changed PayPal accounts? Post the new email on the ticket before we send anything, and tell us to ignore any address given earlier.
- Balance not moving? Remember commissions have to clear before they count toward the 100 USD threshold, so very recent referrals may not be payable yet.
