Your first 24 hours on ASEOHosting are about getting your accounts created, DNS pointed correctly, sites secured with SSL, and email deliverable, so that by the end of day one every domain resolves to its own dedicated Class C IP and loads over HTTPS. Work through the checklist below in order. Most steps take a few minutes each; the only slow part is DNS propagation, which you can start early and let run in the background.

1. Confirm your account details and log in

1. Open your welcome email and note your WHM/cPanel URL, server hostname, and the dedicated IP (or IP range) assigned to your account.
2. Log in to WHM at https://your-server-hostname:2087 if you have a reseller or VPS plan, or straight into cPanel at :2083 for a single account.
3. Change the initial password immediately under Password & Security, and enable two-factor authentication while you are there.

2. Create your cPanel accounts and map IPs

For a reseller or VPS setup, each site should sit in its own cPanel account. In WHM go to Account Functions > Create a New Account, enter the domain, and under the IP section assign the dedicated IP for that site rather than the shared server IP. The goal is a clean one-site-per-IP layout so that unrelated projects do not share a footprint. A dedicated Class C IP is a defensive, footprint-control measure; it keeps your sites from being visibly clustered together, but it does not by itself lift rankings. Content quality and genuine value still decide outcomes.

3. Point DNS and start propagation early

Because DNS changes can take a few hours to settle, do this before the fine-tuning steps. If your domain is registered elsewhere, update the nameservers at your registrar to the ones in your welcome email, or set an A record for the root and www pointing at the assigned dedicated IP. Keep the TTL modest (for example 3600) so future changes apply quickly. If you are moving in from another host, follow migrating to ASEOHosting and lower TTLs a day ahead where you can.

4. Install SSL on every domain

Modern cPanel provisions free AutoSSL certificates automatically once DNS resolves to the server. In cPanel open Security > SSL/TLS Status, confirm each domain shows a valid certificate, and run AutoSSL if any are pending. Serving mixed http and https is a common day-one mistake that leaves a red, insecure state in the browser.

5. Verify, then harden

1. Load each site over https:// and confirm it resolves to its own IP.
2. Set up email accounts and add SPF and DKIM records so mail is deliverable.
3. Take a first backup or confirm the automated backup schedule.
