Our servers are currently hosted across three data centre regions, giving you a genuine choice of geographic footprint for each project:

We keep adding new locations as demand grows, so if you need a region that is not listed above it is worth asking, capacity in a new site may already be planned.

For most single sites, the physical location of the server is a performance and audience question: put the machine near your visitors so pages load faster and, where relevant, so the local search results treat the site as a natural fit for that market. A US audience is usually best served from Dallas or Michigan, and a European or Scandinavian audience from Stockholm.
For network operators the location also feeds into your footprint. If every property in a portfolio sits in the same rack, on the same subnet, resolved by the same nameservers, that uniformity is a pattern. Spreading sites across regions is one of several ways to keep a network looking like a set of independent businesses rather than one operation wearing many hats. It is worth being clear about the ceiling here: a spread of locations is a defensive measure, not a ranking boost on its own. It reduces shared-neighbour risk and dilutes obvious footprints; it does not make a thin site rank.
Choosing a region for your project

- European and Scandinavian sites: the Stockholm region keeps data and latency inside the EU, which can matter for both audience speed and data-residency preferences. Our European SEO hosting covers the options there.
- Mixed portfolios: combining US and EU sites is one of the simplest ways to add real geographic variety across a network.
Geographic location and IP allocation are related but separate: an IP address is assigned by a regional registry and mapped to a location, which is why two servers in the same country can still sit on very different networks. The public registry data behind this is maintained by IANA's IPv4 address space registry, if you want to understand how blocks are handed out.
